The Indonesian Education Development Institute (IEDI) is an independent, non-profit, and non-partisan research institution. IEDI focuses on research in the field of education in Indonesia and globally, with the aim of promoting educational development, addressing educational challenges, and discovering new concepts and approaches that can be applied to the education system in Indonesia in particular and worldwide in general.
IEDI operates under the Yayasan Bina Bintang Muda, which was legally established by the Office of Notary Mohammad Afnizar, SH., Sp.N, in Lhokseumawe, Aceh, Indonesia, based on Notarial Deed Number 57 dated September 30, 2017, with registration number AHU-0015125.AH.01.04 of 2017.
IEDI is also an independent scientific publishing institution in Indonesia that serves researchers, lecturers, teachers, and practitioners by publishing and disseminating scholarly works, including research articles in academic journals, conference proceedings, and scholarly books.
In addition, IEDI carries out other academic activities such as conferences, seminars, workshops, training, and professional development programs for educators at all levels, from primary and secondary education to higher education.
As a research institution committed to the advancement of education in Indonesia, IEDI welcomes opportunities for collaboration with domestic institutions, such as universities, schools, professional organizations, associations, alliances, and scholarly communities. Furthermore, IEDI is also open to cooperation with international institutions for research collaboration, scholarly publication collaboration, as well as joint seminars, conferences, and workshops.
